Great Product-Lots Of UsesNov 17, 2009
Star Brite Brand liquid tape is the best I have used so far. It is thicker and sticks better upon application than some other brands. This stuff is a no brainer for anyone doing electrical work. My trade is automotive & truck repair which leads me into plenty of electrical tasks. You can coat exposed 12 volt power/ground studs, solenoid & switch terminals for a nice water tight connection. Try the colored liquid tape also to identify terminals, for example the red version would be 12 volt postive. One nice trick I like is coating 12 volt automotive battery terminals when out of the vehicle and being stored/saved. You will prevent unintentional shorts across the terminals.
