Not worth the moneyOct 08, 2012
You would expect the pad lock to be rust proof and handle water better since its supposed to be a hose bibb lock. Just after a week of use, its lock has jammed and its not possible to use the lock anymore. I will still have to get a replacement pad lock.

Ha! Keeps Kids OUT of The Hose!Apr 17, 2012
LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! It was super simple to use and solved the problem of my kids constantly turning on the hose whenever they went outside. The lock that it comes with isn't the best, but is easily and cheaply replaced. This was absolutely worth every penny. Not even one drop of water is wasted, the kids stay dry, the yard isn't flooded, and we're all happy.

Rusts way too fastAug 08, 2012

The lock is chincy and the whole thing rusts out way too fast. You'll have to replace the lock with in a week or two if you use it often. The idea in general works well. It does stop people from using your faucet. You'll want to replace the lock as quickly as possible.

Awesome!Aug 07, 2011
After my neighbors faucet was left on and flooded 2 yards, I decided to protect our faucet. This hose bib is awesome! The lock it comes with is poor quality and started rusting after a week. After opening the lock one day, it did not want to close again. I just used a better lock that I already had. Other than that this actual faucet pieces work great! After installing it I tried every which way I could to unscrew it to see if it really worked. It will not come off when locked! Even if the faucet is turned on, water will not come out! I am extremely happy with this product!
There is something very wrong with this....Oct 23, 2014

I thought that when I had this in my hands I would figure out what I must be missing from looking at the photo. No! This is not secure at all! The lock can be used as a lever to unscrew the inner knurled cap from the faucet!!!! The "eye" that the lock goes into does NOT turn freely when covered with the silver outer cap. This is because there is only a slot in the silver outer cap. IF they had made it with a round hole the diameter of the post that the eye is connected to, well that would have worked, it would have been free to turn. For secondary proof that this company is nuts, look at the photo of their device stuck on one end of bi-pole faucet handle. Like this would stay on and prevent someone from turning it on!!! What a laugh! This whole thing must have been sent to production when the boss was on vacation. Utterly useless.
