After trying a half dozen lock finally one that really works!Jun 21, 2010
I have a gate that I secure with OnGuard Beast 5017 Bicycle Chain Lock however the lock that came with the chain was worthless as it easily freezes in the winter. I have to open and close the gate a number of times everyday; so the lock sees a lot of use. After trying a number of different locks I finally got one of these and it works fantastic! I have used it for two winters now without a single freeze up! There is no way to get a bolt cutter to the lock when it is on a chain. The key turning and lock opening is as smooth today as the day I purchased it. And the lock still looks like brand new. Too, there is a little cover that slides open to conceal and protect the key entry. Excellent product!

It worked great and you cannot get bolt cutters onto it to cut off. Very ingenious, I am getting more.
